I have a passion for helping people and animals. Working in construction for over 30 years, gave me the ability to utilize my skills and my passion for details and develop a high level of patience and understanding. This came about by dealing with clients who were frustrated by the delays that sometimes happen when materials are not available on time or inspections that do not pass or any number of things that get in the way of their job being completed on time.
I have experience in setting up Non-profits and Corporations in the State of Nevada having worked for a company here is Las Vegas for 1 ½ years. Start up non-profits have little or no working capital and the filing fees for state and federal certification are high enough. To date I have helped dozens non-profits obtain their state and federal 501c3 status. I am Nevada State Certified in Grant Writing and California State Certified in Office and Business Management. I have worked in the world of rescue here in Las Vegas, NV since 2013 and I also worked for a non-profit Literacy Organization in California for 6 years, teaching adults how to read. As a teen, I worked for head start helping children with disabilities. I have always found a way to pay it forward and to help make the world around me better.
